Our Team

ALEXA HOUK

Administrative Assistant

Alexa attended the University of Washington, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photomedia. She has a background in social media marketing and promotions.  Alexa joined the Winslow Law team as its Administrative Assistant in July 2018.  She plays a key role on the Winslow Law escrow team providing excellent service and communication to real estate agents, buyers, sellers and lenders.  Outside of the office, Alexa enjoys exploring Seattle and its vibrant restaurant scene. She maintains her interest in photography by taking photos at local concerts and while on weekend trips exploring the Pacific Northwest.

JULIE KEATON

Office Admin

Julie is a proud Husky having graduated with a Masters degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Washington.  Having earned her Masters, Julie spent the next 15 years working with patients of Overlake Hospital.  Following an employment hiatus filled with volunteer commitments to the PTA and serving as a field trip chaperone for her sons’ grade school classes, Julie joined Winslow Law Group in 2011 as office manager.  In addition to her office management responsibilities, Julie is a vital member of the escrow team at Winslow Law Group / Bainbridge Escrow.   Julie works extensively with real estate agents, buyers, sellers and lenders in closing real estate transactions and takes pride in providing excellent communication and service to the many people involved in any real estate transaction. 

Julie enjoys traveling with her husband and sons, cheering on the Huskies and Sounders and walking her rescue dog, Rocket, through nearby Discovery Park.

MARY HOLLEMAN

Wills & Real Estate Transactions

Mary is a third-generation Washingtonian and has been practicing law in Washington since 1989.  Mary attended Gonzaga University for her undergraduate studies before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law.  Her practice concentrates on real estate transactions but also includes business, document drafting, simple wills and probate.  Mary has closed hundreds of residential and commercial real estate transactions during her career.  She also closes sales of businesses.  Mary regards it as a tremendous compliment and responsibility when realtors, buyers, sellers and other attorneys entrust Winslow Law / Bainbridge Escrow with their transactions.  She is committed to providing the highest level of customer service and does everything possible to avoid the surprises that sometimes occur in real estate transactions.

Mary enjoys the outdoors, particularly river rafting, running and working in the yard.  She also loves college basketball (Go Zags!), live music, hosting friends and family for memorable meals and sharing the bounty of her kitchen. 

J.B. “BILL” RANSOM

Principal

Bill is a principal of the Winslow Law Group, PLLC. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Law and was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1981.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. His practice concentrates on real estate and litigation.
